Withdraw

Take out all or part of a vault position at any time, as one of the vault's tokens or as both. Aurum charges nothing to withdraw, and there's no lock-up.

Open the withdraw window

Two ways in:

  • From your portfolio: click Withdraw under your balance and pick the position.
  • From a vault's page: click Withdraw at the top. The button shows when you have money in that vault.

Choose how much

Type an amount in dollars, or tap 25%, 50%, 75% or Max. The line under it shows what part of your position that is. Max takes out every share you hold in the vault.

Choose what you receive

Under Receive in, pick one of the vault's tokens, or Both:

OptionWhat happensCost
BothYou get your share of both tokens, straight from the vault, with no swapOnly the network fee
One token, such as USDGYour share is taken out and the other token is swapped for it in the vault's poolThe pool's trading fee on the swapped part, plus price impact

Receiving both is the cheapest. A single token is simpler to hold or bring elsewhere. You can only receive the vault's own tokens: to end up with another token, swap it afterwards.

Check the summary

LineWhat it says
You receiveThe exact amounts, from a simulation of the withdrawal
MinimumThe least you'll accept: 1% below that. If the price moves further before the withdrawal goes through, it's cancelled
WorthThe value in dollars
Price impactFor one token: what the swap in the pool costs. Over 1%, the window warns you and suggests receiving both

The steps

  1. Approve vault sharesOnly for one token: lets the Aurum zap redeem exactly these shares. Skipped if you approved enough before.
  2. WithdrawYour shares are redeemed. For one token, the other is swapped in the vault's pool in the same transaction.

With your own wallet you confirm each step; with a wallet made for you they're signed when you click Withdraw. When it's done, the window says Withdrawn and links to the transaction. Your portfolio catches up within a few seconds.

If a step fails, Try again picks up where it stopped. "The price moved past your minimum" means the quote is out of date: close the window, open it again for a fresh quote, and withdraw again. Any approval you already gave is kept.

Always open

  • Any time, no lock-up. Withdrawals work in every state a vault can be in, including when it's paused or has pulled its money out of the pool in an emergency.
  • No fee from Aurum. You pay the network fee, and for one token the pool's fee on the swap. See Fees.
  • Earnings not yet collected stay behind for the holders who remain. Vaults are harvested often, so it's usually a small amount. See Harvesting and compounding.

After withdrawing

The tokens are in your wallet on Robinhood Chain. Deposit them into another vault, or bridge them to another network: see Add funds.
