Account and wallet
Sign in with email, Google or X and Aurum creates a wallet for you, or connect a wallet you already use. Either way, your tokens and vault shares sit in your own wallet.
Two ways to sign in
Click Connect wallet at the top right of the app, and pick one:

You can use Aurum either way. If you already keep crypto in a wallet, use that one: you can bring funds to Robinhood Chain and deposit from the same address.
Where your money is
Your tokens and your vault shares are in your wallet on Robinhood Chain, not in an account at Aurum. The vaults' contracts don't let Aurum or the agent take anything out of a vault or your wallet. See What it can't do.
Vault shares are a token of their own: your slice of a vault. Vaults explains them.
A wallet made for you
When you sign in with email, Google or X, Aurum creates a wallet for you through Privy, a wallet provider. It's the same wallet every time you sign in the same way.
- Nothing to set up. No app, no seed phrase to write down.
- Steps are signed for you. After you check the summary and click Deposit or Withdraw, Aurum's window shows each step as the wallet signs it. There's no separate pop-up per step, so check the summary first.
- Only you hold the key. Privy says only the user can ever access a wallet's full private key; see Privy's documentation.
Sending tokens elsewhere
Open the account menu and choose Send to another wallet:
- Choose what to sendAny token in the wallet, and an amount. Max on ETH keeps enough back for the network fee.
- Enter the addressPaste the address you're sending to. It has to be able to receive tokens on Robinhood Chain: many exchanges can't.
- ReviewThe amount, and the full address in groups of four. Compare its first and last characters with the address you meant.
- SendOne transaction, signed for you. It usually arrives within seconds.
To take money out of a vault first, withdraw it into this wallet.
Using this wallet in another app
In Send to another wallet, Export its private key opens Privy's window, where you can copy the wallet's key into another wallet app such as MetaMask. Anyone who has the key controls the wallet: never share it, and never paste it into a website.
Your own wallet
Choose Continue with a wallet in the sign-in window and pick your wallet.
- Aurum switches it to Robinhood Chain before the first step, if it's on another network.
- You confirm every step in your wallet: approvals, swaps, the deposit or withdrawal itself.
- Reconnecting. After a reload, your wallet may not be connected in that browser any more. The deposit window then says so and offers Reconnect.
Aurum never sees your seed phrase or private key.
The account menu
Once you're signed in, your wallet's address shows at the top right, with how you signed in under it: your email, your X handle, or "Own wallet". Click it for:
- Portfolio: your balance and positions.
- Copy address: your wallet's address on Robinhood Chain, for adding funds.
- View on Blockscout: your wallet in Robinhood Chain's explorer, with every transaction.
- Disconnect: signs you out in this browser.
Signing out doesn't touch your money. Sign in the same way again and everything is where you left it.
