Add funds
Aurum runs on Robinhood Chain, so the money you deposit has to be there first, with a little ETH for network fees. You bring it over from another network with a bridge.
What you need
Two things in your wallet on Robinhood Chain:
- What you want to deposit, in almost any token. Tokens other than a vault's own are swapped when you deposit.
- A little ETH for network fees. Every transaction on Robinhood Chain costs a small fee in ETH, called gas. At today's prices a whole deposit costs well under a dollar, so 0.001 ETH covers several deposits and withdrawals.
The simplest thing to bring is ETH: you can deposit it into any vault, and it pays your network fees too.
Find your address
Sign in, open the account menu at the top right and choose Copy address. That's where funds go. See Account and wallet for signing in.
Bring funds from another network
To move tokens onto Robinhood Chain you use a bridge. Robinhood lists these:

Robinhood's bridging page has the current list. Each bridge supports its own networks and tokens: check before you send.
Bridges are run by other companies, each with its own way of securing transfers. Aurum isn't part of the transfer and can't reverse it.
Check that it arrived
Once the bridge is done, your tokens show up in Aurum:
- The deposit window lists every token in your wallet, with its balance.
- Your portfolio shows them under Ready to deposit, next to what's already in vaults.
If a token doesn't show up, check the bridge's status page, and that it went to Robinhood Chain and to the right address.
Taking money back off Robinhood Chain
Bridges work both ways. First withdraw from the vault into your wallet, then bridge out.
- The official bridge takes about 7 days to send funds back to Ethereum, and you finish with a transaction on Ethereum to claim them.
- Other bridges set their own times and fees; check on their site.
A bridge works with a wallet you connect to it. With a wallet made for you by Aurum, first move the tokens to one you can connect: send them there with Send to another wallet in the account menu, or export the wallet's key into a wallet app. See Account and wallet.
