Quickstart

From signing in to your first deposit, in four steps. It takes a few minutes, plus the time it takes to move money onto Robinhood Chain.

Before you start

Aurum runs on Robinhood Chain. To deposit, you need two things there:

  • The money you want to deposit, in almost any token.
  • A little ETH to pay network fees. At today's fees, 0.001 ETH covers several deposits and withdrawals.

1. Sign in

Click Connect wallet at the top right of the app. You have two options:

  • Email, Google or X. Aurum creates a wallet for you, tied to that login. There's nothing to install.
  • A wallet you already use, such as MetaMask or Rabby. Choose Continue with a wallet.

If you already hold crypto in a wallet like that, use it: you can then bring funds to Robinhood Chain and deposit from the same address.

2. Add funds

Once you're signed in, open the account menu at the top right and choose Copy address. That's your wallet on Robinhood Chain.

Then move funds to it:

  • From Ethereum, use the official Robinhood Chain bridge. It usually takes about ten minutes.
  • From Base or Arbitrum, a fast bridge such as Relay or Across usually takes a few minutes. These are run by other companies, each with its own way of securing transfers.

The simplest thing to bring is ETH. You can deposit ETH itself into any vault, and it pays your network fees too. If you bring another token, add a little ETH alongside it.

See Add funds for more ways and details.

3. Pick a vault

Open Vaults. For each vault the list shows:

  • APY: what the vault has been earning lately, as a yearly rate. Hover over it, or tap it, to see how it adds up.
  • TVL: how much money the vault holds.
  • Range: where the price sits inside the vault's range.

Click a vault to open its page. It shows the price and the range, what the agent is doing, and the rules the vault runs under.

4. Deposit

  1. Open the deposit windowClick Deposit, on the vault's page or next to it in the list.
  2. Choose what to pay withPick a token from your wallet. If it isn't one of the vault's two tokens, it's swapped first, for a 0.25% fee.
  3. Enter an amountType it in, or tap 25%, 50%, 75% or Max.
  4. Check the summaryIt shows what you deposit, the route your money takes, the fees and the estimated yield. Then click Deposit.
  5. Watch the steps go throughAn approval or two, a swap if one is needed, and the deposit itself. With your own wallet, you confirm each one there. With an email or social login, they're signed for you. Approvals you've given before are skipped.

When the last step is confirmed, you're in. Your deposit shows up in your portfolio shortly after.

What happens next

You don't need to do anything else. The agent looks after the vault's range and adds what it earns back in.
